Multiplication Strategies

Reflection:

I was learning how to double and halving,place value and compensation strategy.The easiest strategy was place value because I know how to split number correctly.The hardest strategy was doubling and halving because I need more work on it.

Adding using tidy numbers

Reflection : I have been learning to add numbers into tidy numbers.  I found this strategy hard and tricky because I was doing  stage 6  strategy and before I was doing stage five strategy. My favourite part about this strategy was doing the number line because it was easy and fun.  I think I should work on using bigger numbers like 100's,10's and ones.

Addition Using Place Value

Comparing Fractions

I am learning how to compare fractions.I found this easy  because I know how to compare fractions.
Next time I should use harder numbers and work on my time tables so I can get the answer quicker.

Make it & Break it

                                                  

This is my make it and break it to 20.  I had to add numbers to make 20 so I had to do 19+1=20 that equals to 20.  I found this easy because I found a pattern by adding to 20.  Next time I should challenge myself with a bigger harder numbers.  I could also try to use multiplication and division.
